My name is Chilumba Mubashi, and I am a Pre-engineering major (Computer/Electronics) here at Warren Wilson College. I love my life, and I’ll tell you a little about it.
Education
I went to school in Lusaka, Zambia. I graduated from secondary education (high school), at the International School of Lusaka (ISL), in 1996. After that, I continued two years at the same school. These two years were sixth form with a programme called the International Baccalaureate, IB for short, which was just introduced at ISL. It was a demanding course, but I graduated later in 1998. After that, I came straight to Warren Wilson College.

Life
I am a Zambian, born and bred in Lusaka. Being in an international school gave me an advantage to meet and get along with people from different backgrounds easily. Even from the picture of my IB class below, one can see how small but diverse our class seemed to be. My friends, the way friends are supposed to be, were the important people in my life leading to what I am today. Choose your friends wisely!

Country
Zambia, beautiful place!!! It is a country found in southern central Africa. An English speaking country, where English is the official language( and everyone asks me where I have learnt my English!!). Don't stereotype Africa, as Zambia is quite developed, and if you want more information about it, you can click here.

So far, so good. Study hard, and we will all have smiles on our faces. I have been told, "College years are the best years of your life". But, I'm still to find out if that is true!!
